Nelson Cricket is excited to invite expressions of interest from coaches keen to be part of our 2025/26 representative and pathway programmes.
Each season, our teams provide an important stepping stone for young players and aspiring athletes across the region. These teams not only showcase the best of our local talent, but also play a vital role in player development and lifelong engagement in the game.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals interested in coaching roles across a range of teams for the upcoming summer, including:
Boys teams at Year 10, and Year 11 & 12 level
Girls teams at Year 9 & 10, and Year 11–13 level
Senior men’s and women’s representative teams
This is an opportunity to lead, inspire, and support the next generation of cricketers in our region — whether you're a seasoned coach, a teacher with cricketing experience, or a passionate community member ready to step up and make a difference.
Our coaches are critical to the success of the wider game. Beyond the match-day tactics, coaches help shape confident, resilient, and connected players, both on and off the field. Nelson Cricket is committed to supporting our coaches with resources, development opportunities, and a strong community of support.
