Following the completion of the 2025/26 season, Nelson Cricket administered the Voice of the Participant survey. This was the 3rd edition of the survey having previously been completed in 2021/22 and 2023/24, providing members of the community the opportunity to provide feedback on the state of the game.
Comparing the results from 2025/26 against those from two years ago, shows that in most areas there has been progress. Which is extremely pleasing.
Areas which are of note include;
92% of respondents had a strong sense of belonging to their team.
88% of respondents felt their teams performance met, or exceeded what they deemed to be an acceptable standard.
